Finger Splint F 04 (Tynor) is designed to support and immobilize the finger interphalangeal joints in a functional position. It offers a practical, cost-effective option for managing a range of finger conditions. Available in three sizes based on finger length.
Indications and uses
- Alignment, immobilization, and bony support of injured interphalangeal joints without bulky bandaging.
- Helps reduce pain and the risk of further vascular or nerve injury.
- Post-injury care for ligament or tendon injuries of the fingers.
- Mallet finger.
- Rest and rehabilitation for post-burn contractures.
Design and features
- Coated aluminum body with Ethafoam lining; strong, lightweight, and can be contoured for a secure fit.
- Anatomical shape with malleable aluminum arms; easy to apply and adjust.
- Maintains the required hyperextension of the DIP joint.
- Stabilizes both interphalangeal joints in a neutral functional position; does not restrict movement of other fingers.
- Ventilated and comfortable construction.
- Ethafoam padding provides high cushioning and enhanced comfort; non-allergenic, odorless, and easy to clean and maintain.
